Containing around 5% of Nicaragua’s all out land zone, making it the second biggest rainforest in the western side of the equator (after the Amazon), the Bosawás Biosphere Reserve has been a UNESCO biosphere hold since 1997.
The primary risk to the rainforest originates from Nicaragua’s blasting domesticated animals industry. Farmers have relocated to the save as once huge mob where they regularly pay land dealers to illicitly verify title to arrive.
