Being the most popular city on the island, Arrecife, capital of Lanzarote, is located to the east and it’s a mix of history and fashion. Although in the 15th century the place was a fishing center without any importance, in 1852 it became the capital of the island and, over the years, it was developed to become a metropolis considered a paradise for any shopaholic. With streets full of the most exclusive boutiques, such as Calle León y Castillo, Arrecife is a must for those who enjoy a day exploring shops and places with many stories to tell.

In addition, there are two important beaches in the place, Playa El Reducto, with the most beautiful sand and crystal clear water, and Playa El Cable to the west of the capital.
